My work is made up of numerous details. I gather and combine images, materials, techniques, activities and different representations. Within the "big story" there are various anecdotes that may connect to each other at times loosely and associatively and at times directly. The scale in the work itself constantly alters as there is movement between big and small so there are multiple perspectives that might sometimes seem contradictory. My work often transfers a feeling of the transitional and unloading. I find I tend to go back to situations that are supportive, leaning, collapsing as if hanging by a thread. In most cases, it is the inquiry and different "games" with the materials that lead to the image and meaning.

I like handicraft and manual toil. The substances and techniques I am attracted to are plain and mundane, I find it important to leave the mechanisms that make up the "magic" exposed, for all to see.

Shadows take up a central place in my work. I am quite preoccupied with existential questions and illusions. Quite often dreamlike situations or those related to a stream of consciousness find place in my work, the images and sounds intertwine without an apparent order, beat or inquiry and different "games" with the materials that lead to the image and meaning.
