Education
graduated art studies at the University of Haifa
Amalia’s artwork relies on her expertise in music and movement, which she was undertaking from her early ages. Honored a scholarship from the "Keren Sharet",
“Master Class” participant for piano workshops at the Israel Music Conservatory and the Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance.
During the years Amalia graduated her master’s in counseling and art therapy at the hifa university and combined her creativity in art with the use of art as a healing power.
Amalia’s initial subject for her paintings were conceptual nature and landscapes. Later, Amalia developed her own language to characterize a visual and image translation from the course of her personal life.
For several years Amalia's paintings are mostly acrylic on canvas, mainly with her subject of dealing with the inevitable separation from her ability of dancing and playing
the piano.
Her colorful paintings frequently present hidden images from nature and imagined,
stirring between the stress and the pain of her new form of limited movement, and the
reconciliation and acceptance of creation with reduced mobility.

Teampartnership in a dancing group. A combined creation by Ruth Eshel’s
choreography and Dalia Meiri’s sculptures, performed at the Haifa museum, the
Tel Aviv museum, and the Jerusalem museum.

לימודים:
1983 - בוגרת לימודי B.A באמנות יצירה באוניברסיטת חיפה, תלמידה של אברהם אופק, מיכה אולמן, אבנר כץ, אבישי אייל ועוד.
1989 - תואר M.A בפסיכותרפיה באמצעות תנועה ומחול.
בוגרת הקונסרבטוריון הישראלי למוסיקה
זוכת קרן שרת ושותפה לכיתות אמן באקדמיה למוסיקה ומחול בירושלים.
לאורך השנים עמליה משלבת בין תהליכי היצירה שלה לבין השימוש בכוחה של האמנות ככלי מרפא.
עמליה פיתחה שפה אישית העוסקת בתרגום ויזואלי של תהליכים פנימיים באמצעות דימויים מעולמות מיתולוגיים וארכאיים. עבודותיה עוסקות בדיאלוגים המתרחשים בנפש האדם: טוב ורע, ייאוש ותקווה, היחד והלבד, אפוקליפסה וגן עדן. כל אלה יחד באים לידי ביטוי בעבודותיה הבוראות עולם ומרחב דמיוני דינאמי.
עמליה מציירת בצבעי אקריליק, בדרך כלל על בדי קנבס גדולים שאינם מתוחים, ביצירת המייצבים בוחנת אינטגרציה בין חפצים בתלת ממד בשילוב ציור על קנבס.
תערוכות נבחרות
שותפות יצירה ומחול בצוות "ענפים מחותלים" עבודה בשילוב מחול ופיסול בהנחיית הכוראוגרפית רות אשל והפסלת דליה מאירי. הוצגה כמופע במוזאון חיפה, מוזיאון תל אביב ומוזיאון ירושלים.
עבודת מיצג יחיד בשילוב פיסול ותנועה "מסגרות", הוצגה כמופע בפסטיבל עכו ובמוזיאון חיפה.
