תהליכי העבודה של יששכרי משלבים ניסויים פסודו-מדעיים בשילוב טכנולוגיות חדשות וישנות, תוך מחקר אמנותי אשר מחזיר את הקשר ההיסטורי שבין אמנות, מדע וטכנולוגיה ויוצא מגבולות השיטה האופיינית למדיום הצילום. עבודותיה עוסקות בפעולה מול תגובה, שהיא לעתים כימית או פיזיקלית, תוך משחק על ציר של טבע-אדם-תרבות ויחסי הגומלין ביניהם. מרכז התעניינותה עומד על התפר שבין הטבעי והמלאכותי ובמיקומם של האדם והתרבות ביחס אליהם, כאשר אני, כיד נעלמה, מנסה לדמות את כוחות הטבע, תוך זיקה עמוקה לתולדות האמנות והצילום.
