Goni Harlap
Goni Harlap is a sculptor and installation artist, based in Tel Aviv. She is a graduate of the Haifa university MFA program (2016), holds a BA in Philosophy and Literature Studies at the Tel-Aviv University (2003) as well as a Grande Diploma from “Le Cordon Bleu” school of culinary arts (1996).
With sensual aesthetics that both invite and deceive the viewer, Harlap investigates materiality and objects, from the everyday realm to the mythological one. She stretches materials into contradictory forms, between figurative and abstract, tangible and conceptual, control and intuition.

גוני חרל״פ, פסלת ואמנית מיצב. בוגרת MFA (אוניברסיטת חיפה), תואר ראשון בספרות ופילוסופיה (אוניברסיטת ת״א), ולימודי קולינריה בביה״ס ״קורדון בלו״, פריז (1996). חיה ויוצרת בתל-אביב.
עבודותיה הוצגו בתערוכות יחיד ובתערוכות קבוצתיות בארץ ובחו״ל. ביניהן: תערוכת היחיד ״משפך״ (בית האמנים תל-אביב, 2013). פרויקט ״מיכלים״, בביאנלה לאמנות אפריקאית בדקאר, סנגל (2016), והתערוכות הזוגיות ״זרם תעתוע״ (הגלריה בבארי, 2016), ו״טבע שני״ (גלריה אלפרד, 2017). כן זכתה בציון לשבח מטעם עיריית קיוטו, יפן (Kyoto municipal Museum, 2016).
באסתטיקה חושנית, מזמינה ומתעתעת, מתחקות עבודותיה אחר אובייקט וחומר, המיתי והיום-יומי, ונמתחות לכיוונים של התנגדות ; בין הפיגורטיבי למופשט, במישורים של סדר ואקראיות גם יחד.
