Tamar Orr
Born 1975. Tamar work revolves around creating movement.
Using light, engines and sensors, Arduino software and diverse materials, She develops movements and structures that tell a story.
Orr studied performing arts: Space, Light and Costume Design at Tel Aviv University, completing her BA studies with Honors. Thereafter she completed her Master of Art degree in Rose Bruford College in London in Lighting and Installation.
Tamar teaches in Israel's leading art schools, designs lighting for theatre and dance productions in Israel and worldwide and exhibiting installations which combine object, light and engines into movment.

תמר אור
ילידת 1975. עוסקת בעבודות בתנועה.
עבודתה של תמר עוסקת ביצירת תנועה כפעולה פיסולית וכשפה נרטיבית. באמצעות אור, מנועים וחיישנים, תוכנת Arduino ומגוון חומרים, היא מפתחת מערכות תנועה ומבנים דינמיים הנפרשים בזמן ומספרים סיפור.
אור היא בוגרת החוג לאמנויות הבמה באוניברסיטת תל אביב, שם התמחתה בעיצוב חלל, תאורה ותלבושות, וסיימה את לימודיה בהצטיינות. בהמשך השלימה תואר שני באמנות (MA) במכללת Rose Bruford בלונדון, בהתמחות בתאורה ובמיצבים.
תמר מלמדת במוסדות האמנות המובילים בישראל, מעצבת תאורה להפקות תיאטרון ומחול בארץ ובעולם, ומציגה מיצבים המשלבים אובייקט, אור ומנועים לכדי מערכות תנועה חיות.
