My creations are about the concept of a “picture” in the broadest sense of the word – painting, sketching and collage are intertwined from which a multitude of artistic techniques emerge moving along the seam line of the ornamental and the figurative, between realism and fantasy. The colours serve as keys to communication and understanding, and bridges between cultures.

עבודתו של אליעז סובבת סביב המושג "תמונה" במובן הרחב של המילה: ציור, רישום ואסאמבלאז', ומצמיחים מתוכה ריבוי של טכניקות והקשרים אמנותיים, על קו התפר שבין אורנומנטיקה לפיגורטיביות, בין ריאליזם לפנטזיה. הוא מכליא בין מספר שפות אמנותיות-גרפיות ומנביע מתוך העבודה עמדות רגשיות שונות, המאפשרות להגדיר אותה ביחס לעיסוק בסוגיות של זהות – אישית ואמנותית – ביחס לתימטיקה גברית.
